7 NIGHTS/8 DAYS BEST OF KENYA SAFARI

DAY 1: Pick from the airport and drive to a Nairobi Hotel for shower and full breakfast. Depart thereafter and drive north to Mountain Lodge passing through the farmlands with Tea and Coffee plantations of Central Highland to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy viewing the animals as they come to drink and lick salt at the waterhole or take a walk through the mountain forest viewing the bird life and animals. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.

DAY 2: After breakfast drive further North to Samburu Game Reserve crossing the Equator at O* latitude where you stop to take pictures with the Snow Capped Mount Kenya which is Africa’s second highest Mountain on the back ground before proceeding to the park to arrive in time for LUNCH. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena or similar.

DAY 3: Early morning Game drive. Return to the Lodge for BREAKFAST. Mid morning and early afternoon at Leisure. This day you can decide to go and visit a SAMBURU VILLAGE then return to the Lodge for LUNCH. Afternoon Game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.

DAY 4: Depart after breakfast and backtrack south to the Equator 0* latitude to arrive in time for Lunch at Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp. After Lunch go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

DAY 5: Depart after breakfast and drive southwest through the Scenic Eastern Escarpment of The Great Rift Valley to arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar. Afternoon game and bird viewing at Lake Nakuru national Park. The park is also a Sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, famous for millions of greater and lesser flamingoes and other bird species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar

DAY 6: After breakfast in the lodge, drive eastwards and then south on the floor of the world’s greatest Valley viewing the beautiful landscape and plains to the World famous Masai Mara, arriving in time for Lunch at Mara Simba or Mara Sopa or Keekorok Lodge or similar. Afternoon Game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge or Keekorok Lodge or similar.

DAY 7: Early morning Game drive. Return to the Lodge for BREAKFAST. Mid morning game drive return to the Lodge for LUNCH. Afternoon Game drive. (This day you have an option of taking full day game viewing with picnic lunch by the Mara River returning to the lodge late afternoon). Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge or Keekorok Lodge or similar.

DAY 8: Depart after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at around 1300 hrs. Afternoon free for last minute shopping.  Farewell DINNER at the World famous CARNIVORE Restaurant and thereafter transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
